Richmond Park, Roehampton, London, United Kingdom Richmond park is located in the southwest part of the London. It was created by Charles I in the 17th century as a deer park in beginning and later administration inculded different actvities.However, In begining it was for wild life. This park had great role in the first World War and Second World War and also in last three Olympics.This park is the Britian 2nd largest park after Lee Valley Park.It has huge distance as it's covered in several boroughs I. e. Roehampton, Kingston upon Thames, East Sheen and Richmond etc and it comes under surrey county. Richmond park has 12 connected gates known as a Kingston gate (use buses K3 and, 371) Ladderstile Gate (close for public), Robin Hood Gate closure for traffic in (use buses 85,265, K3) chohole gate (no entry), Roehampton gate (use of private traffic and public buses 72,436,170) East are seen gateBog gate (Both Close) Cambrain gate, Richmond Gate, Petershamm Gate, Pembroke Lodge and Ham Gate. Richmond park is full of life for the public as a resident, tourists and sports person you can enjoy golf as a guest and member, a lot of cycling and jogging tracks. There is wildlife in the Richmond Park.There are deers and stages who always there for your entertainment. Moreover, there are refreshment cafes and restaurants in the park. There are the facilities for horse riding and for horse riding you can use Robin Hood Gate. Very attractive place in south London with 12 connected gates and this park is in the list of royal parks.
